Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services Description

KC Super Tech provides IT services including but not limited to:

  • Computer troubleshooting and repair
  • Network design and installation
  • VoIP phone system deployment
  • Access control and security systems
  • Low voltage wiring and structured cabling
  • Smart home automation
  • Video surveillance systems
  • Data backup and disaster recovery
  • Managed IT services
  • Custom application development

Specific services are provided as agreed upon in individual service agreements or quotes.

User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Grant reasonable access to equipment and systems as needed for service delivery
  • Back up your data before any service work (we strongly recommend this)
  • Notify us promptly of any issues or concerns with our services
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws

Payment Terms

On-Demand Services

Payment for on-demand services is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards, checks, and electronic payments. A diagnostic fee may apply and is typically credited toward repair costs.

Managed Services

Managed IT service plans are billed monthly in advance. Late payments may result in service suspension. Terms are specified in your service agreement.

Project Work

For larger projects, payment schedules will be specified in the project quote or agreement. Deposits may be required for materials or significant labor.

Service Warranty

We stand behind our work. Specific warranty terms vary by service:

  • Labor warranty: 30-90 days depending on service type
  • Parts warranty: As provided by manufacturer
  • Installation warranty: 1 year for cabling and security installations

Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or acts of nature.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • KC Super Tech shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for data loss; clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups
  • We are not responsible for third-party software, hardware failures, or service provider outages

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of KC Super Tech and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

For custom application development projects, intellectual property rights are specified in individual project agreements.

Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. During the course of providing services, we may have access to sensitive business or personal information. We will:

  • Use such information only for the purpose of providing services
  • Not disclose information to third parties without consent
  • Implement appropriate security measures to protect data
  • Return or destroy confidential information upon request

Termination

For managed services, either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice unless otherwise specified in the service agreement. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Non-payment of services
  • Illegal or unethical use of our services
  • Abusive behavior toward staff

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Jackson County, Missouri.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
